Today marks the start of the blessed month of Ramadan.
This month is not just about staying hungry and thirsty—it is a month of self-purification, God-consciousness (taqwa), and drawing closer to Allah. 💖
Ramadan teaches us—
✔️ Patience
✔️ Self-control
✔️ Empathy for the poor
✔️ Transforming the person within ourselves
Allah says in the Qur’an:
“O you who believe, fasting has been prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may attain righteousness (taqwa).”
— (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:183)
In this month, the gates of Paradise are opened, the gates of Hell are closed, and the devils are chained. 🌸
So on this first day of Ramadan, let us begin with a renewed intention—
🕌 More prayers
📖 Recitation of the Qur’an
🤲 Sincere supplications
❤️ Kindness and compassion toward others
O Allah,
Make this Ramadan a turning point in our lives.
Forgive our sins, accept our prayers, and keep us firm on the path of righteousness. Ameen. 🤍
